Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes circumstances may arise that require the cancellation. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation by the Organizer:

   In the unlikely event that the organizer cancels the event, a full refund of the ticket price will be provided to all registered participants. The refund will be issued using the original payment method within 30 days of the cancellation announcement. The organizer will make reasonable efforts to notify all participants about the cancellation and refund process.

2. Cancellation by Participants:

   Participants who wish to cancel their attendance at the event must adhere to the following guidelines:

   a. For cancellations made within 10 of the event date, no refunds will be provided.

   b. No-shows

      Participants who do not attend the event without prior cancellation notification will not be eligible for any refunds or credits.

3. Force Majeure:

   In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events such as natural disasters, severe weather conditions, or governmental restrictions, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the event. In such cases, the organizer will make reasonable efforts to inform participants about the changes and provide suitable alternatives or refunds.

4. Requesting a Cancellation:

   Participants must notify the organizer in writing to initiate the cancellation process. The organizer will confirm the cancellation and provide further instructions regarding refunds, credits, or transfer options.

Photography and Recording Policy for Dissemination Purposes

During the conference, we encourage attendees to capture the essence and knowledge shared at the event through photography and recording, with the understanding that these visual materials can be valuable for both personal reflection and broader dissemination. By participating in the event, you agree to the following terms regarding photography and recording for dissemination purposes:

1. Event Organizer’s Right to Use Visual Materials: By attending the conference, you grant the event organizers the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use any photographs, videos, or audio recordings taken during the event for promotional, educational, and dissemination purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, publication on the conference website, social media, marketing materials, reports, and educational content.

2. Respect for Privacy: While the event organizers have the right to use visual materials, they will do so while respecting your privacy and dignity. Efforts will be made to avoid using images that may be considered unflattering or embarrassing.

3. Attribution and Context: Whenever possible, the event organizers will attribute the visual materials to the creators. Additionally, the context of the content will be considered to accurately represent the event’s themes and discussions.

4. Sensitive Content and Consent: The event organizers will exercise discretion when using visual materials, especially in cases involving sensitive topics or situations. Whenever feasible, consent will be obtained from individuals before using content that prominently features them.

5. Non-Commercial Use: Visual materials captured and used by the event organizers will be primarily for non-commercial purposes, aimed at promoting the event’s educational and informative value.

6. Collaborative Sharing: Attendees are encouraged to share their own content on social media and other platforms, contributing to the overall coverage of the event. By using event-related hashtags, attendees can be part of a collaborative documentation effort.

7. Ethical Editing: When editing or altering visual materials, the event organizers will maintain the ethical integrity and context of the content. Materials will not be edited in a way that misrepresents the original intention or message.

By participating in the conference, you acknowledge and consent to the event organizers’ use of visual materials for dissemination purposes as described above. Your contribution helps us spread the knowledge and insights shared at the event to a wider audience.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter, or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, including the validity, invalidity, breach, or termination thereof, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Rules of the Spanish Arbitration Association. The place of arbitration shall be Murcia, Spain. The language of the arbitration shall be Spanish.

For all disputes not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Murcia, Spain.

By participating in the conference, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts and agree to abide by the arbitration rules if applicable. This choice of governing law and jurisdiction is intended to provide clarity and consistency in the resolution of any disputes that may arise in connection with the conference.
